Data Compliance
This guide explains how devgrowthlab protects your data and your users’ privacy. It is written to make our privacy practices clear and easy to understand. Our privacy policy remains the official and most detailed document, and if there is ever a difference, the privacy policy takes priority.
devgrowthlab never collects personal information from your users. As just one example: we do not process or store IP addresses to locate users geographically, instead, we rely on the country where the data first enters the devgrowthlab network. This provides an approximate measure of user location without storing any personally identifiable information. All data is aggregated. Individual records are not stored and cannot be viewed or extracted. This means your analytics stay useful but remain completely anonymous.
If you send extra information such as custom cohorts, you must only send data that you are legally allowed to share. Never include email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, IP addresses, device identifiers, or any other form of personal or sensitive data. devgrowthlab does not store or display that information, and sending it could lead to your account being suspended or closed. This rule protects both you and your users.
Our servers are hosted in the Republic of Ireland, and backups are stored in the Netherlands. Any personal information we do collect, such as your email address for alerts or your billing details, is processed and stored in these same regions. devgrowthlab operates only within areas that fall under EU data protection laws or have formal agreements with the EU that allow the transfer of personal data safely.
In rare situations, your data may be accessed in a country outside these regions, for example if you sign in from Turkey and view your dashboard there. In those cases, the data transfer happens under standard contractual clauses that ensure your information is still protected to EU standards. Our infrastructure providers and other data processors follow the same strict requirements.
devgrowthlab was built from the start to align with GDPR principles. We only store the minimum amount of information required to deliver analytics, and we process it in regions that maintain strong privacy protections. This approach means you can focus on improving your product with full confidence that your users’ data remains private, secure, and compliant.
